Kef Q150 Review

Kef Q150 Review: Your living room experience can be changed by a great pair of speakers. The thing is, most consumer-grade speakers can simply not live up to what you’re looking for if you’re an audiophile. That’s where, for those with a $300 budget, items like the Q-Acoustics 3020i speakers come in. But if you have to spend a little more money, then you’re going to get something a lot better, like the KEF Q150 bookshelf speakers. But are the speakers worth the money? Or can you save up for a better thing? For a while now, we’ve been using the KEF Q150 bookshelf speakers to find out.

Kef Q150 Review

The KEF Q150 bookshelf speakers, out of the box, look like a high-end product. They come in a few different finishes, including a good black satin, white satin, or a beautiful new walnut finish. We’re testing the black satin, and they look amazing and should blend in on any TV stand or entertainment center.

At almost 12 inches tall, 11 inches deep, and 7 inches long, the speakers come in. That’s a little bigger than some other speakers on the bookshelf that you can use in the sub-$500 range, but still small enough to fit in a wider entertainment center on either side of a TV. Every one of them weighs 12 pounds, which is actually a bit lighter than we planned.
