Ursaring is another one of these unique Pokemon, as it can only be evolved into Ursaluna under specific circumstances.
Players can only evolve Ursaring into Ursaluna when theres a full moon in Pokemon Go. The Evolve button for Ursaring will not appear on the Pokemon page unless the moon is full.
If the moon is full in Pokemon Go, players can evolve Ursaring into Ursaluna using 100 Teddiursa Candy.
While a full moon isnt always active in Pokemon Go, Niantic, the developer of Pokemon Go, can create a full moon in the game at any time. For instance, during the November 2022 Community Day event, which featured Teddiursa, the game had a full moon, and players were able to evolve Ursaring into Ursaluna for a limited time.

Now that you have an Ursaring, you can immediately evolve it into the Normal- and Ground-type Ursaluna – as long as you have the right item, a Peat Block. In order to complete the Main Mission Arezu’s Predicament and obtain the item needed to evolve Ursaring, you must first calm down the Noble Pokemon Ursaluna in the Crimson Mirelands.
Partway through that mission, you’ll gain the Noble Pokemon Ursaluna as a ride Pokemon. Treasures, such as the elusive Peat Block, can be located with its help. When the green radar coming from it turns orange, keep going in that direction until an exclamation point pops up above Ursaluna, which should stop you in your tracks. For digging, press Y. This has been the only method we’ve found Peat Block.
