With their high-quality and highly powerful boilers being installed in homes worldwide, Worcester-Bosch has grown from a small engineering business in the 60s to a household name. The 30i is a minor improvement over its top-selling 25kW combi boiler, the Worcester Bosch Greenstar 25i. Unlike the 25i, in terms of water flow rate, the 30i is more efficient and can deliver 12.3 litres of hot water per minute.
To be specific, for these two boilers (24kW), the output for heating is the same, what varies is the output of hot water, i.e. the strength with which the boiler heats up water for anything but heating, e.g. baths, kitchen taps etc.
The 30i has a 24kW heating output and a 30kW hot water output, which is suitable for small to medium-sized homes with up to 3 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. In terms of energy efficiency, both boilers have a high 93 percent rating, which is an overall A-grade. The Greenstar 30i has a standard control panel that has all the normal boiler controls to turn the boiler off or lower its output.
