I have ordered from Vitkac three times. At first I was a bit hesitant because I was not familiar with the store. However after doing my research I felt comfortable placing my order. Luxury items in the United States are about 30 percent more expensive than in Europe. Buying from Vitkac the US buyer gets European prices without having to travel. Warsaw is a huge global city and is the economic and political center of Poland, of course there will be demand for a store like Vitkac. I understand Louis Vuitton specifically chose Vitkac to house their only store in Poland. The three pairs of Balenciaga shoes I’ve purchased via DHL shipping have all been excellent purchases.
I placed an order Saturday night Vitkac time. I received it Thursday. Even taking into account the fact that it was a weekend and a holiday in Poland, this was lightning fast. There was no duty or tax to pay, so I saved over $500 USD on my new wardrobe. When I accidentally placed two orders, I naturally had to get in touch with customer service. They responded quickly and issued a refund the following day. I have never had such a pleasant buying experience with a foreign store as I did with this one.
