Simon Bryant wife: Simon Bryant is an Australian chef who was born in Exeter, Devon, England on February 14, 1965. On the ABC show The Cook and the Chef, Bryant appeared opposite Maggie Beer from South Australia. Over the course of four years, the show aired more than 150 episodes, attracting more than 600,000 viewers weekly across the country. Bryant began his career with Hilton Adelaide as a Commis Chef, then spent 18 months as a Chef de Partie in ‘The Grange’ under Cheong Liew before quickly rising to Senior Sous Chef of ‘The Brasserie.’ His break came at ‘The Brasserie,’ where he was elevated to Executive Chef, in charge of 33 employees, two of the state’s best restaurants, a quick service deli, and South Australia’s best chef.

The Brasserie’s break was promoted to the Chef Executive, with 33 employees, 2 of the state’s leading restaurants, a rapid service, the biggest catering and room service operation in the state, and as Southern Australia’s largest hotel.

Simon, 49, and Richard, 51 remembered her mother as a woman who “grabs life through the horns,” but struggles to lose independence due to the growing severity of mental health. “She’s been out of focus. At one operation she had a Doberman under her desk, and a King Charles Cavalier spaniel welcomed clients at another,” said Simon.
