Zinathi, the 7-year-old daughter of Nhlanhla and her estranged spouse Thembinkosi “TK” Nciza, which tragically killed in 2009.
As she grieved at the loss of Zinathi, Nhlanhla wondered whether she would have to undergo any more agony or suffering.

Nhlanhla said that Zinathi would have been fifteen today, and she expresses her gratitude for the little time she had with her deceased daughter.
They lost their five-year-old daughter in a vehicle collision more than ten years ago, when artist Nhlanhla Nciza and her husband and businessman TK Nciza were married.
