Jay blades wife: Jay Blades of the repair shop revealed that after his marriage collapsed and his charity went bust, he hit the rock bottom’ – and spent a week living his car thinking he ‘wouldn’t see tomorrow.’ The 51-year-old modern furniture designer, who has raised in Hackney east London, said about six years ago that he ‘fell down’ tearily and turned to a friend to borrow £100 for meals. In 2015, his charity High Wycombe Out of the Dark which he set up in cooperation with his ex-wife Jade, his daughter’s mother, who he met at thirty as an old student at the new University of Buckinghamshire.
After meeting each other in university, Jay had previously married his ex-wife Jade. Five years after their wedding collapsed he and Jade reportedly split. After their split into the Daily Star, Jay has since talked about how he became homeless: “I was homeless. I was homeless. You’ve listened to me correctly – yes, homeless.”
For me, all fell down. It ruptured my marriage, my company broke. “I left the house for my ex-wife and so on.” He also opened his wedding with The Mirror when he broke down, adding: “All came at the same time. My wedding had collapsed, I had no money and I had to regulate the people I employed.”
