I have unplugged the stove entirely (at the breaker) and left it that way for an hour. When I flip the switch, the stove still says “locked.” However, when I do the same thing while holding down the power button as the breaker turns on, I observe an initialization process. I notice that the indicators for all four burners are blinking in the same pattern: a dot followed by the letter ‘E.’ A dot appears above the stopwatch, timer, and bell as they all illuminate at once. Within two or three seconds, this will have occurred. After that, the hob is once again in its “locked” state, and I have made no further progress. I’m not sure if there’s a specific button combination that, when combined with turning on the breaker, restores the unit to its original settings.
Nothing has changed; the child safety lock still activates and the stove remains in its locked position. At present, the power on/off button is the only one that does anything and it only shows the childlock key symbol. No matter which buttons are pressed, there are no other feedback indicators that appear. Except for the previously described case where I reset the entire hob and then held down the power button while turning on the breaker. It has zero reaction at all.
