Once you have all the supplies, here’s how to make glass blocks:
Construct a work area for your hobbies. In a 22 crafting grid, place 4 Wood Planks of the same type in each box. The planks can be anything (Oak Planks, Jungle Planks, etc.).
The 3×3 crafting grid can be accessed once the Crafting Table has been placed on the ground and interacted with.

You’ll need glass blocks to make things like beacons, daylight sensors, glass bottles, glass panes, and more for your explorations. Sand block goes in the top slot, and fuel goes in the bottom. Coal, charcoal, lava buckets, and almost any type of wood can all be used as fuel in a furnace. In order to make 6 glass blocks, 6 sand blocks will need to be melted down.
The ingredients for making glass panes are in your inventory, so open your crafting table and get to work. When you launch your crafting station, you’ll see a 3×3 grid much like the one in the picture below:
Spread out 6 glass blocks across a 3×3 production area. Place the glass blocks in the exact pattern shown below. Three glass blocks are required in both the first and second rows.
