Hariss Harun salary: Hariss bin Harun is a Singaporean footballer born on 19 November 1990, playing as a middle ground middleman for Lion’s side Premier League, City Marine, and Singapore National Team Captain. He has made his first international appearance at the age of 16 and 217 days, being Singapore’s youngest debutant. Hariss is known for its versatility as a combative and playful player. Hariss has occasionally played as a center-back, right-arrow, or attack midfielder, mainly as a central center-field player. His leadership skills are recognized and he is the former captain and vice-captain respectively of the Young Lions and LionsXII.
His first Singaporean soccer player in history, Hariss signed a new 2-year contract with the club on 9 November 2015 with a monthly pay of 30,000 US$ (US$ 43,000). The boy, 29 years old, belongs to the JDT team of players, coaches, and staff who agreed to take a payroll cut of 33% to the Johor Disaster Fund from this month.
That also means that during this period Hariss is the first Singaporean footballer to reduce his salary. “We are well-paid and well looked after by JDT,” he told The Straits Times. We feel we need to support many people in Johor who suffer and struggle with the virus and lockdown.
