Duxot Watch Review: Perhaps Duxot Forza lasted a little too long. I got it a month ago and it’s been on my wrist ever since, not too much, but enough. Duxot is one of the Dartmouth Products brands, which also includes Avi-8, Spinnaker, DuFa, and a few others. This is a community that recognises microbrand watches, and you might say that with Avi-8 and Spinnaker, it describes microbrand watches in certain respects (not all good). Duxot is one of their newer labels, but I can’t tell how new it is because the website’s details is unclear. The Forza is a titanium dive watch with no frills, one of the brand’s seven dive styles.

It is undeniable that watches are one of the most significant style aspects. It’s not just a watch; it’s a way to express oneself.

Watches, particularly for males, can indirectly reflect the wearer’s personality. While jewelry is used by women to accentuate their looks, men’s wristwatches might be considered their equivalent of jewelry.

It’s impossible to think about watches without thinking of Switzerland, the nation that has produced some of the most recognizable watch brands in the world. Several nations look to Switzerland for inspiration when it comes to making watches. According to different sources, the following are five of the most sought-after Swiss watch brands. In London, England, it was in the year 1905 when the first watch firm was created that we know of today. It was moved to Geneva, Switzerland, in 1919 and has been there ever since. Hans Wilsdorf, the company’s founder, insisted on the accuracy of his brand’s timepieces. Precision in chronometric measurements has been achieved. In 1910, Rolex received the Swiss Certificate of Chronometric Precision or Swiss Chronometric Certification. Also, in 1914, the Kew Observatory in England presented him with an “A” class accuracy certificate in recognition of his accomplishments. Today, the word “precision” conjures images of Rolex watches.

Rolex offers a vast range of timepieces on the market. Collections like the Oyster Perpetual Sea-Dweller, Yacht-Master II, Cosmograph Daytona, and Sky-Dweller were unveiled this year. The watch brand Bombberg is a relative newcomer to the scene. The firm was founded in Neuchatel, Switzerland, in 2012, and it has a striking image and a willingness to break with convention. This watch, which is currently accessible in more than 50 countries, accentuates the bold, aggressive, and manly image. Gene Simmons of KISS, Tommy Lee of Motley Crue, Slash of Guns N’ Roses, and NBA player Chris Andersen are all lovers of this clock.

Many concerns are posed in the case of the Forza. The case’s aesthetic architecture is flawless, but the proportions are disconcerting at first. Let’s call it a tolerably stumpy scenario. We’re talking about a 14.5mm thick 39mm diver. One of the first things I noticed about the watch was its height on my wrist. It’s just a little too tall. And, though I couldn’t make the watch slim down, I did get used to it because I kept the watch on my wrist all day.

The titanium case (as well as the bracelet) has a satin finish throughout. However, I found that the case has a different tone than the bracelet, which is in turn different from the clasp. In my view, that’s a major (though in some light difficult to see) omission. The case’s bottom edge has a bevel that runs from tip to tip of the sharply angled, slender 20mm lugs. A simple screwdown crown offers 250 metres of water resistance, which is more than sufficient but uncommon considering that most divers are 200 or 300 metres deep.

How Reliable Are Duxot Watches? Dixon, like Spinnaker, Duff, and Avi-8, is a high-end watchmaker. Often mechanical, they’re well-made and employ Japanese-branded movements. Some watch companies have been around for over a hundred years. Several others have just begun operations and are promoting themselves aggressively on social media.

Brands like Duxot are also out there.

They’re not a well-known brand or a brand that’s just getting started. It is a modern name that I’ve noticed but hasn’t had the time to investigate further.

However, I’ve only come into them by accident when seeking anything else.

Although I’ve made a mental note each time I’ve seen a good Duxot model, I haven’t yet purchased one. After a long wait, I’ve finally completed it. Dartmouth Brands Ltd. is the company behind the Duxot Watch brand. Avi-8, Spinnaker, and Duff are just a few of the other names in their stable.

Solar Time Ltd., domiciled in Hong Kong, owns Dartmouth, a British-registered corporation. There are offices in Hong Kong, London, and the United States for this corporation.
The Dixon company is headquartered in Hong Kong, where Solar Time was established. Their timepieces are made at a factory in China that they own.

Importantly, they employ Japanese movements, like many other manufacturers in this price range – economic, but not budget. Dixon, like Spinnaker, Duff, and Avi-8, is a high-end watchmaker. Often mechanical, they’re well-made and employ Japanese-branded movements.

They often employ sapphire crystals, as you can see from my list. In addition, they have a high degree of water resistance. One thing to keep in mind is that Duxot might be more expensive than other Dartmouth products.
